Life Skills - Inspiration Workshop (two on-campus meetings; WORK event)

May 10, 2021

Motivation and Learning by Chemistry alumnus and university skills lecturer Rob van Waarde.
How do you maintain your motivation and deal with problems in Covid-times? This interactive on campus workshop enables you to learn from the circumstances and develop personal leadership.

On Tuesday 1 and 8 June, 15.00 – 16.30 h, we organize an Inspiration Workshop, a Life Skills WORK event, about Motivation and Learning. .

We all need a sense of where we are going in life, and what is our purpose. Normally we take this for granted, but the world in this Corona era has changed. Due to Covid-restrictions we depend more on our inner social circles. Lacking the inspiration of collaboration and new encounters, it may be difficult to keep our motivation.

Nevertheless this can be productive as well. In this workshop series of two meetings we discuss useful philosophical insights for living through this period. You will learn about the different phases of a crisis, and how to be open to new perspectives. Letting go of old expectations allows us to find new motivations, which will be valuable long after the crisis.
