Would you like to take on a job as a Student Assistant in the Faculty’s International Office and assist with several administrative tasks, international student events and social media? 
This might be an opportunity for you!As of August 2017, we will have a position for a Student Assistant for 6 months.
You will support the different activities of the Faculty’s International Office.

Tasks
  • Assisting several administrative tasks, like the registration of exchange students
  • Answering or forwarding questions of international students
  • Supporting the organisation of activities, like the OWL Faculty’s introductionary mornings, the ‘On Being a Scientist’ Film afternoon and the Study Abroad Festival
  • Supporting the study associations with the involvement of international students
  • Responsible for the FB groups for international students and the Study Abroad Blackboard course for Outgoing students

 

Your profile
  • An EU/EEA BSc or MSc student who currently studies at the Faculty of Science
  • A person who is available in the first semester of the academic year 2017-2018
  • A creative person with strong organisation and communication skills
  • Someone who is well-organised and works accurately
  • You have an international student experience
  • Fluently in both spoken and writing English. Knowledge of Dutch is not required

 

The position

The position is set-up for 8 hours a week: 1 full day or 2 half  days. Preferably you are available on Wednesdays and/or Fridays and we ask flexibility with activities and events.
