On February 16th the master programs Chemistry and Life Science and Technology organise several activities for their master students and the Erasmus students of the LIC.
Feel welcome to follow the entire program, but don't forget to register for a free lunch!
1) Program Evaluation II (DM1.15!)
At 11:00 we have an oral evaluation of block II in room DM1.15 where we discuss the students remarks and experiences on the courses.
2) Lunch lecture (Cell Observatory Lecture Room; LMUY 0.4.28)
At 12:00 we have a (free) lunch presentation "Shape your future: explore your skills and opportunities" by Ms. Tanja Bos of the Science Career Service who will show what you can do to plan your career already during your studies.
The lunch meeting will take place in the Cell Observatory Lecture Room (LMUY4.28).
For those who have registered, a free lunch will be provided (students that enrolled in February do not need to register as their participation in this activity is obligatory).
3) New students welcome (Cell Observatory Lecture Room; LMUY 0.4.28)
At 13:00 there is an introductory talk by the Educational Directors for the newly enrolled students.
4) Safety instructions (Cell Observatory Lecture Room; LMUY 0.4.28)
At 14:00 Mr. Marc Fluttert, the will present about safety aspects in the laboratories where most of you will do their research projects. This presentation is open for all MSc students Chemistry and Life Science and Technology and our Ersamus students.
5) Managing your data (Cell Observatory Lecture Room; LMUY 0.4.28)
At 15:00 Mr. Rutger de Jong, subject librarian will present an interactive session “Fighting information obesity: efficiently finding your way in chemistry and life sciences”.This presentation is open for all MSc students Chemistry and Life Science and Technology and our Ersamus students.
For this part it is handy to bring your own laptop if you have one!
