Graduate schools in Chemistry and Life Sciences

Leiden Institute of Chemistry research groups actively participate in four Graduate Schools that are jointly organised by different research groups at Dutch Universities. These Graduate Schools recruit the most talented Chemistry and Life Sciences students on an individual basis. Students have to apply at the Graduate School of their choice where accepted students will follow an excellence program and are invited to write a research proposal at the end of their master’s program.
The best proposals in each graduate school compete for a limited number of PhD positions available within these graduate schools.

The following graduate schools are now accepted by NWO:

More information on these Graduate Schools and Application can be found at their web sites. Note that you must be accepted as a master student at one of the participating universities!
